When you like to feel the real oriental Asia, the China is the right place to go. From ancient attractions to modern attractions, China is very complete! Let’s begin with ancient China attractions. Who never heard about the Great Wall of China? The Great Wall is the number one tourist’s attraction in China. It’s established over 2,000 years ago and finished in year 1368 during the Ming Dynasty. Covering over 4,000 miles (6,700km) across China, no wonder UNESCO listed it as one of the greatest wonders of the world in 1987. The long Great Wall is divided into nine sections, from Liaoning to Gansu. When you come to China, you must at least visit the Great Wall’s one of the nine sections, otherwise you will feel never come to China.
From Great Wall, we continue the journey to the mysterious China attraction, the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City, or Gu Gong in Chinese, was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Now, it’s known as the Palace Museum, located to the north of Tiananmen Square, Beijing. It is the world’s largest palace complex, covering 74 hectares with unique rectangular shaped. Surrounded by a six meter deep moat and a ten meter high wall are 9,999 buildings. The wall has a gate on each side. It’s really fascinating! The history of the palace’s construction is also fascinating as well. Construction started in 1407, the 5th year of the Yongle reign of the third emperor of the Ming dynasty, it needed fourteen years to be completed.

A million workers including one hundred thousand artisans were driven into the long-term hard labor of the Forbidden City. Nowadays, the Forbidden City, or the Palace Museum is open to tourists. Splendid painted decoration on these royal architectural wonders, the grand and deluxe halls, with their surprisingly magnificent treasures will certainly satisfy ‘modern civilians’.
From ancient China attraction, we are now going to see the modern China. Hong Kong is the center of modern China. Come to Victoria Peak at Hong Kong to see the modern amazing Hong Kong city from 554 meters high. You should take the Peak Tram to go there. The best time to go is in the night.
